Back O’ Beyond Ranch – Spectacular views of Cathedral Rock and surrounding red rock cliffs are a hallmark of this neighborhood. This enclave of luxury homes is one of the more prestigious communities in the “Chapel Area.” Many of the houses include high-end features like expansive patios, swimming pools, chef’s kitchens, and dedicated media rooms.
Back O Beyond Ranch is governed by a Home Owners Association (HOA). One of the guidelines to be aware of is that occupants may not lease or rent their homes or part of their homes for under six months. All rental contracts must be approved by the association. Most residents are happy that the HOA prevents revolving tenants caused by short term rentals and promotes a friendly neighbor community.
The properties are on a hill above Oak Creek with easy access to hiking and mountain biking. Those who love the outdoors will revel in the fact that Cathedral Rock trailhead is nearby this gated area. The Cathedral Rock trailhead and surrounding streets do get a fair amount of traffic, especially on weekends. Please observe to 26 MPH posted speed limit as the areas residents are often out walking or jogging too. Both Mystic Trailhead and Chapel Rock are each within a couple of miles northeast.
Although Back O Beyond Ranch gives you a great sense of wide-open space
and rural living, shopping in West Sedona is less than five miles away. Residents can hop on an electric bike or use a car to take Highway 179 and 89A for shopping, dining, and entertainment.
